MCCA announces policy priorities for 2026 legislative session
February 2026
The Minnesota Child Care Association (MCCA) is proud to share our policy priorities for the 2026 legislative session. Our 2026 priorities address critical issues impacting child care providers and families across the state, including program integrity, child safety, child care funding and affordability, and regulatory and licensing updates. During the 2026 legislative session and beyond, MCCA will continue to serve as a voice for professional, high-quality child care that is affordable, accessible, and able to meet the diverse needs of Minnesota families.
