Apply now to join the Minnesota Child Care Association using the form below. Benefits of MCCA membership include:
- Member discounts for MCCA events and access to exclusive member-only opportunities. In the past, our members-only events have included intimate conversations with elected officials, educational sessions on complex regulatory changes, and networking happy hours!
- Professional representation for child care centers - including yours. Very few child care programs can afford to hire a dedicated lobbyist, but every child care center in the state is impacted by legislative and administrative actions. MCCA has professional advocates that make sure child care priorities are front and center at the Capitol so that you can focus your resources on your centers and the families you serve. In addition to our state lobbying efforts, MCCA members also have federal representation through our membership in the national Early Care & Education Consortium.
- Advocacy opportunities tailored to your needs and experience. Never talked to a legislator? Join MCCA's annual Day on the Hill event, where we'll arm you with everything you need to be an expert advocate for child care. Seasoned pro? MCCA regularly provides our members with opportunities to represent MCCA and member programs to elected officials and the media.
- Stay up-to-date on crucial info that affects child care centers. MCCA sends out a regular monthly newsletter featuring legislative updates and resources for child care operators. Beyond our newsletter, we send out regular communications helping members respond and react to current events. Recently, we've provided members with real-time information and resources related to Minnesota's Paid Leave program, the federal CCAP funding freeze, and immigration enforcement actions.
- Networking and resource-sharing with other child care professionals. MCCA members can reach out to MCCA staff or Board members at any time to receive help with questions specific to your program. We also regularly host both virtual and in-person networking opportunities for members to meet fellow providers.
- Being part of the largest group of high quality-committed center providers in the state of Minnesota!
